Samsung Galaxy S3 to be Officially Announced on May 22 at London, UK [LATEST LEAK]

Here is another great story regarding Samsung’s upcoming smartphone Galaxy S III. But other than the previous leak, this time the image of the SG3 appears on the press release. (Note: We yet to confirm the authenticity of the source)

But one thing for sure, the leak seem to be the most realistic one compare to any version of the previous leak. From the press photo you could see that the Galaxy S3 will come with a sleek looking metal casing and bends backwards towards the bottom. And for sure the sexy curvy edge with make you fall in love with the unit instantly.

In addition, the press release announced that the Galaxy S3 will be announced in May 22 with London, UK being confirmed as the venue for the launching event.

Guided by the factors above it is time to compare each of them for these two phones. Let us find out what will give the S3 such an important and crucial edge over the older S2 which still holds the tittle of “the best smartphone yet”.

 Comparing the Display

Comparing the display and its features on the S2 and the S3 can best be described by an old saying in Eastern Europe that goes “it is like comparing the earth to the sky”. There are a few reasons for this claim, but it is best you take a look at the display features yourself and see what we mean.

The Galaxy S2 sports:

• 4.3-inch with a 800 x 480 pixels resolution
• Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touch-screen
• 217 ppi pixel density

The new kid in town, The Galaxy S3 will however, sport:

• 4.6-inch HD with a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution
• Super AMOLED Plus capacitive with TouchWiz screen
• 319 ppi pixel density

So as you can see, the S3 is clearly better in this field and has a lot more to offer! Watching videos will be a real joy on this new phone. Both devices have Gorilla Glass protection, but the S3 will probably have the new and improved version.

Processor 

We can say for sure that the S2 features a 1.2GHz Cortex-A9, Exynos processor with 1GB RAM which was really something the first time it came out. However, the Galaxy S3 will feature a quad-core, Exynos 4212/ Exyos 5250 (this is still not 100% certain), 2GHz/ 1.8GHz processor with 2GB RAM. Clearly the S3 will be more powerful and faster.

Memory storage

Most users will never come anywhere near the maximum that the phone can store so many ignore this and deem it to not be important. However, for the sake of those who do will remind you that the Galaxy S2 has internal memory configurations of either 16 or 32GB and can have an external microSD card that allows it to expand to 32GB. On the other hand we have the Galaxy S3 which  they say will have the option for you to get it with 16, 32 or even 64GB storage. And  then you can get an external microSD card and expend the memory up to another 64GB. This means the new model will have double the storage space possible!

Camera

Very important to media junkies who want high quality picture and video capture options. Once again the Galaxy S3 is much better in this field. The S2 sports a 8 megapixel camera with 3264×2448 pixels and with 1080p HD video capture, as well as a secondary 2 MP camera for video calling.  The camera of the S3 is still hidden in a veil of mysteries and rumors, but it will probably be a 12 MP camera with 4000×3000 pixels and of course 1080p HD video capture. There will also be a front 2MP camera which is becoming quite standard.

Battery

A lot of room for debate here as well. Those who are interested in the outcome of the Galaxy S2 VS Galaxy S3 mash-up will be particularly interested in this feature. In short the Galaxy S2 sports quite a standard battery with Li-Ion 1650 mAh. We aren’t sure about the Galaxy S3, however, it is predicted that it will come with a good-looking, slim 2250 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Image Get ‘REVEALED’ FIRST TIME for REAL?

Although Samsung just officially released the ICS (Android 4.0) for Samsung Galaxy S2 to the world two days ago, the world’s hungriness for more latest info on the Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone Galaxy S3 yet to cease even a little. Samsung fanatics including us are still constantly looking for more information on the phone.

Just yesterday, we learned that Samsung has finally put Galaxy S3 into production and some of the carriers and retailers have already started taking the preorders due to the overwhelming response of the product.

Today we received another piece of information regarding Samsung Galaxy S III but this time an external image that believed to be the photo of the Galaxy S3. The image was believe to be leaked by one of the PhoneArena‘s anonymous tipster.

The Galaxy S III above has no physical buttons come with it and it is believed that it will fully utilizing theAndroid 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich design that doesn't require the physical keys.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t confirm whether this is the real deal, as it could be another faked image finishing from the Photoshop. However, it could be a real photo for Galaxy S3.

Facebook IPO Puff Up the US Dollar

Facebook is going to IPO soon, will the IPO of FACEBOOK puff up US Dollar?

                                                             

 Investors are expecting Facebook, a wildly popular social network, to file papers this week for an initial public offering that will value the company at between $75 and $100 billion. The impending IPO, which is expected to raise $10 billion, will be the biggest Internet IPO ever and the fourth largest IPO in U.S. history. The company is expected to earn about $3.8 billion in 2011 full-year revenue with about $1.5 billion in operating profits.

Aside from the funds that the IPO will bring in to the company, Facebook’s chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg, focused on the job opportunities and accompanying revenue creation that will be generated when the social network goes public. According to Sandberg, the company already employs more than 3000 people and has created more than 450,000 jobs in Europe and the U.S.

With a history of acquiring companies that it believes could be complementary to its core business, investing in new developments and vast overseas expansion, many investors believe that the additional cash raised by Facebook could flow into other sectors such as advertising and marketing. The potential for job creation could help boost the U.S. economy, and accordingly the U.S. dollar, as the Federal Reserve continues to work towards stimulating economic growth and reducing the unemployment rate, which stood at 8.5% in December 2011.

Looking to the U.S. stock market, Facebook’s IPO has already greatly impacted the tech sector, including smaller companies that depend on it such as independent app makers and gaming platforms such as Zynga. This could boost investment opportunities in the growth sector on the U.S. equity market.

The US Dollar’s long-term outlook remains weighed down by poor growth prospects and a stubbornly high unemployment rate. A successful IPO of Facebook’s magnitude could further animate the “animal spirits” of the US stock markets, pushing them higher. This could add to demand for US dollars and overseas investors seek to be a part of any such rally.

It is important to remember that while Facebook’s expected $10 billion IPO is massive, it is quickly dwarfed by the foreign exchange market, which the Bank of International Settlements estimates to have a daily turnover of over $4 trillion – 80% of which includes the US Dollar one side of the trade. In light of this great difference in size, the effects of Facebook’s IPO is not likely to be felt in actual demand for dollars in order to purchase Facebook shares. Instead, if there is an effect, it will likely be more notable in the psychological effect it may have. A successful IPO may effectively burnish the United States’ image as a place to invest - especially with Europe likely to be in recession. If that leads to improved economic activity, this may allow the Federal Reserve to relax its very accommodative policy of low interest rates and quantitative easing in time. For the dollar to rise again, this is the most important event.

The Wall Street Journal previously reported that the social-media company isn't expected to identify its choice of stock exchange in its first initial public offering papers, which opens a window for further entreaties by both Nasdaq and its chief rival, Big Board operator NYSE Euronext.

Overnight, US stocks were drive higher on my market sentiment fired up by the huge IPO, in which Facebook is expected to raise at least $5 billion. Facebook itself has not yet given an indication of when the IPO might be filed.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 104.52 points, or 0.83 per cent, to 12,737.43 in the first five minutes of trading.The S&P 500, a broader measure of the markets, added 10.63 points, or 0.81 per cent, to 1323.04. The Nasdaq gained 18.06 points, or 0.64 per cent, to 2831.90.

"Wall Street is cheering increased speculation about a long-awaited initial public offering from Facebook," said Karee Venema at Schaeffer's Investment Research.
